About NovaTel

Over the past six years, NovaTel, Ltd. has evolved from a small, boutique reseller of long distance services to a well known, worldwide carrier of international telecommunications traffic.  Unlike most carriers, NovaTel built its business plan on the thin margins associated with being a wholesale carrier.  The mindset is quite different from that of a retail carrier that enters the wholesale market to fill excess capacity.  As a result, NovaTel has been profitable beginning with its third month of operation.

What makes the difference, and what does this difference mean to you – NovaTel's valued customer?

First of all, NovaTel is an owner operated partnership.  Decisions not only affect the Company, its employees, and its customers; but each decision directly affects the livelihood of each and every partner.  From the very beginning, the partners made a commitment to total quality of service (TQOS).  As a result, the partners are proactive, not reactive; and their commitment to TQOS has resulted in NovaTel having relationships with Tier I carriers in the United States and around the world.

There is a uniqueness about NovaTel that creates an air of confidence – its financial stability.  NovaTel takes great pride in its financial management and financial strength.  NovaTel doesn’t pay its carriers with checks written on small banks deep-in-the-heart-of-Texas to live on the float.  No, NovaTel pays its carrier using Federal Funds Wire Transfers.  NovaTel's carriers receive their money, in their bank accounts, when it is due; if not before.  You never have to worry about NovaTel losing a route because it did not pay its underlying carriers.  [By the way, there are no outside investors, venture capitalists, or financial institutions invested in NovaTel - all of the partners are active in the business.]

Finally, the partners of NovaTel are insightful – they are always looking for ways to enhance NovaTel’s services, and they are always looking for ways to better serve their customers. This may sound like so much sales talk, but it is true.  NovaTel’s Network Operations Center (NOC) is staffed 24 x 7 x 365 by qualified technicians.  There are no answering machines or voice mail systems that leave you wondering whether or not anybody is at home.  No, you talk to a technician or engineer who can answer your questions and resolve your problems as quickly as possible.  This is all part of the partners commitment to total TQOS.

From its headquarters located in San Antonio, Texas, NovaTel truly reaches every part of the world.  It maintains its main point-of-presence (PoP) in San Antonio, Texas.  It has interconnection at One Wilshire in Los Angeles, California - the nations largest telecom hotel.  The Company has direct agreements with PTTs (foreign Postal, Telegraph and Telephone companies) throughout the world, as well as international Tier I and Tier II carriers.  The Company was one of the first licensed VoIP carrier with the PTT in Pakistan.  The Company is expanding its direct relationships in Europe, Asia, Central and South America, and throughout the world.

NovaTel has assumed a major role in the worldwide business-process-outsourcing (BPO) industry that helps keep American companies competitive in the global economy.  NovaTel provides a "one-stop-shop" solution for domestic and international long distance services to offshore contact centers and BPO centers.  NovaTel carriers over 80 million minutes of long distance traffic each month between these offshore contact centers and the United States, Europe, Australia, Canada, and the rest of the world.

NovaTel is not just a small, sideline provider of telecommunications services.  No, NovaTel is definitely a real, mainstream provider of international long distance services.

NovaTel … Your real source for carrier-to-carrier solutions.
